LET'S JUST THROW OUT THE CAMPAIGN FINANCE AND ETHICS LAWS, TOO!

Lucy Morgan in the St. Petersburg Times wonders what good they are considering how candidates and the political parties are behaving, anyway. The telling sentence:

The 2006 election is beginning to look more like a money laundry than a carefully regulated campaign by high-minded individuals who want to serve the people of Florida.

And that, my friends, is a terrible shame.
