NOW SOME CLOSURE...AND MAYBE A FEW APOLOGIES...ARE IN ORDER???

It seems as though the decade-old murder case of then-six year old JonBonet Ramsey could be solved with the arrest and apparant confession in Thailand of a former schoolteacher who once lived near the youngster's family when they lived near Atlanta.

It's about time. Of course, 41-year-old John Mark Karr will go through the process of being charged and a trial. But hopefully this will in some way bring closure to the Ramsey family, who throughout the past decade has been the subject of suspicion and questions. It's only too bad that Patty Ramsey, the child's mother, will not be present to witness it. She died of ovarian cancer nearly two months ago.

And maybe --- just maybe --- father John Ramsey will get some well needed apologies for the living Hades that he and his family have been subjected to. Of course, investigators had to look at all angles into what happened to JonBonet, and that included the possibility that the parents were involved. But ten years worth?
