ENJOYING THE WORLD CUP MATCHES

I've spent much of this weekend watching the World Cup matches, many of which have been rather exciting. While the USA only managed a tie Saturday against Italy, that was as good as a win in my eyes considering they were playing one of the best teams in the world, and especially when one considers that they played one man short for much of the second half. The officiating in that game, though, sucked big time (the ref also missed an obvious goal for France in their game this afternoon against South Korea).

If you want to be entertained while enjoying the games, check out the Univision telecasts. While you might not understand much of what they're saying unless you know the language, there's no doubt they make it into a party, regardless of who's playing. And yeah, I really enjoyed the scantily clad women dancing to the Brazilian drum band...it certainly added to the show for us horny old men. They're based in Miami, BTW.
