THIS WEEK ON THE SUNDAY CHAT SHOWS

ABC / This Week with George Stephanopoulos: This Week will not be aired June 18 due to ABC Sports’ broadcast of FIFA World Cup soccer action. It will be back next Sunday, but some affiliates may reschedule or preempt it should World Cub broadcasts require. Please check local listings.

CBS / Face The Nation with Bob Schieffer: White House Press Secretary Tony Snow will talk about Iraq, the war on terror, and President Bush’s surprise visit to Bagdhad. Also scheduled: U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham (R - SC) and Joseph Biden, Jr.(D - DE).

CNN / Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer: The Press Secretary will also appear here to talk about Iraq, the war on terror, and the President’s polling numbers. Also appearing will be Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, U.S. Senators Dianne Feinstein(D - CA) and Pat Roberts(R - KS), former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger, and former National Security Adviser Professor Zbigniew Brzezinski.

FOX / Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace: Of course, one could not expect Tony Snow to make the Sunday talk show circuit without a visit to his former collegue Chris Wallace. And can Democrats win the House with unity on Iraq? To answer that question will be former White House Chief of Staff and currently President/CEO of the Center for American Progress John Podesta and New Democrat Network founder Simon Rosenberg.

NBC / Meet the Press with Tim Russert: Congressman John Murtha (D - PA) will appear to talk about Iraq and politics. But what will make this programme interesting is a rare roundtable discussion with the top executives of America’s three biggest oil companies: Shell Oil President John Hofmeister, ConocoPhillips Chairman/CEO James Mulva, and Chevron Chairman/CEO David O’Reilly.

Syndicated / The Chris Matthews Show: The guest list was not released this week.
