IT SEEMED LIKE CHRISTMAS EVE

My son and I went to the local Wal-Mart last evening as it was time to do some grocery shopping, and it truly seemed as though everyone in North Lakeland had decided to do the same. I heard several people, including associates, vocalize what I was thinking: That the crowd seemed like a last minute Christmas shopping rush. A number of grocery items had been depleated, not just the Easter goodies, and there was in many cases a 20-30 minute wait to check out.

From the shelves that had been emptied, it seems as though quite a number of folks will be using their outdoor grilles today.
