State Representative Dennis Ross (R - Lakeland) will officially announce his withdrawl from the Chief Financial Officer's race probably next week, according to the Lakeland Ledger's Bill Rufty.

It has been previously reported that Ross has said he would withdraw because to win would mean having to sell off his interest in his law firm. However, he mentions to Rufty that he has no intention of withdrawing from politics of a future political office.
