PBA ENDORSES CRIST, MAY ALSO ENDORSE SMITH IN PRIMARY

The Buzz blog from the St. Petersburg Times notes that the Florida Police Benevolent Association had previously decided to endorse Attorney General Charlie Crist in next year's race for governor. But the organization's president is also saying that they may endorse a candidate in the Democratic primary "to give Democratic PBA members some guidance".

Speculation is heavy that State Senator Rod Smith (D - Alachua) would get the nod if the PBA follows through.
