DOUBLE ENTRENDES...BLATENT SEXUAL REFERENCES ARE NOTHING NEW IN MUSIC

While looking at some of the other Florida blogs, I noticed this from South of the Suwannee that was posted earlier in the week. I definately encourage you to check it out.

People have been complaining a lot recently about the increased coarseness and blatent sexual references in music and other media. It's nothing new; the post reminds us that Grandma and Grandpa may have heard at least one song by a popular country music star from 1931 that, when you read the lyrics for yourself, comes across very suggestive. At a time when censorship was regularly practiced for anything close to being considered indecent, I'm personally surprised that this actually got into the public domain.
