TV DEBATE DATES ARE SET FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION CANDIDATES

According to Roger Simmons' excellent Orlando area TV blog, Daytona Beach/Orlando NBC affiliate WESH-2 has scheduled two debates to be moderated by network big dawgs, so you want to circle these dates as I'm sure they will be aired statewide, most likely on your Florida NBC station.

On October 30, MSNBC host Chris Matthews of Hardball will moderate a debate between the Democratic and Republican nominees for governor. Two days later, on November 1, Meet The Press moderator Tim Russert will be the middleman in the debate between the party nominees in the U.S. Senate race (presumably Katherine Harris and Bill Nelson).
