I just had to put this into the mix. This is actually 18-year young Lakeland resident Nick Allred entertaining sellout crowds over the weekend at Lakeside Village's multiplex theatre. Allred actually made the Captain Jack Sparrow costume from scratch with help from his mother, and he wore it to the first Polk County showing of the new blockbuster film Pirates of the Caribeean: Dead Man's Chest over the weekend.

It got the attention of the audiences, as well as the management team at the Cobb Theatres location. They gave the young man 20 movie passes to entice him back Saturday in costume to take pictures with fans.
