State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Rod Smith (D - Alachua), speaking Monday at a gathering of the nonpartisan Forum Club of the Palm Beaches following a presentation by Congressman and primary opponent Jim Davis (D - Tampa). Davis had mentioned that the Legislature needed "adult supervision".

The two candidates agreed on most issues, with the AP story mentioning that "...the only difference was in the delivery."

I wonder about the attendance at next month's meeting, as the piece ended this way:

"In closing Monday's event, forum club President Dennis Gallon announced next month's attendee -- U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris -- to which the crowd responded with a resoundingly painful, "Uuuuhhhhhh."
