LAKELAND HAS A BUSY AIRPORT THIS WEEK

Folks around Lakeland may be noticing a lot of aircraft flying over this week. A LOT! That is because Lakeland Linder Regional Airport is hosting the 32nd Annual Sun 'N Fun Fly In this week. Locals will be seeing all sorts of aircraft in the skies above Polk County, from vintage military planes to classic biplanes to experimental aircraft.

Lots of avaition enthusiasts from across the country will gather to enjoy the daily air shows, participate in hands-on workshops and forums, and get up close and personal looks at some of the most interesting and historically vital plans around. And those who enjoy hot air baloons (the real thing, no politicians) will not be disapponted, either.

If you like to fly, or are interested in things that fly, this is a great place to be this week.
