A STEP UP FOR FLORIDA POLITICAL BLOGGING

I've always enjoyed reading Florida Politics, and have always considered it one of the best sources of political news and information in the state. I can usually find items there that I may have missed.

Now the founder of Florida Politics has begun a new board known as FLA Politics that takes it up to a new level. The site, which officially launched Monday, uses the idea of "participatory commentary", using software similar to that used at DailyKos which allows registered users to post mini-blog "diaries", and allows readers to rate them.

Several of Florida's best progressive bloggers are expected to contribute to this new effort, and you're invited to participate as well.

I'm looking forward to being a regular visitor to the site, and it's added to the blogroll. Check it out!
