NEW POLL SHOWS ALL REPUBLICANS BUT ONE AHEAD IN TOP RACES
The St. Petersburg Times political blog The Buzz notes the latest Strategic Vision poll of 1200 likely voters taken October 29-31 shows all the Republicans for statewide office leading, but all are relatively close races. No surprise that the only Democrat leading is...U.S. Senator Bill Nelson.

The margin of error is plus-or-minus three percent. If you go to their Web site and view the Florida poll results, you'll notice quite a few other questions dealing with a variety of other issues, such as the 2008 presidential election, President Bush's performance in regard to a number of national and international issues, and how the state's electorate feels about overturning the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision Roe -vs- Wade which makes abortion legal.
BTW: The links on the candidates' names above will take you to their biography page at their campaign Web sites. I want to remind you that there will be much more on the ballot than these races listed above, and you can find out more about the third party and write-in candidates (and there are some rather interesting characters) on these races as well as who's running for local and legislative seats that affect Polk County (where I4J is located) by clicking here.
