GORE RETURNS TO 2000'S "SCENE OF THE CRIME" TO RAISE FUNDS FOR STATE DEMOCRATS

Former Vice President Al Gore, who we all remember was robbed of the presidency thanks to then-Secretary of State Katherine Harris and company 5 1/2 years ago, is returning to Florida Sunday, March 12 for a fundraising event at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach.

According to the e-mail received Monday evening, the reception will begin at 3:00 PM. Gore will discuss the current political situation and rally Florida Democrats to take back the US Congress this year and prepare for the Presidential Election in 2008. Light refreshments will be served.

General admission tickets are $100 per person, with host committee tickets available for contributions of $1000 or more (raise 10 tickets or write the check). Proceeds will benefit the Florida Democratic Party's Victory 2006 fund. You can get tickets by clicking on this link or calling the FDP office at (850) 222-3411.

Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. Contributions permissible under federal law will be deposited in the FDP Federal Account, FDP’s federal component, unless otherwise designated and subject to federal contribution limitations. Contributions not permissible under federal law will be deposited in the FDP state committee account, FDP’s non federal component, as permissible by law. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. Contributions to the Florida Democratic Party are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.
