ATTORNEY GENERAL IN POLK TODAY TALKIN' POLITICS

Attorney General Charlie Crist brings his gubernatorial campaign to Lakeland today. The only public event apparantly scheduled is a breakfast reception this morning at the Terrace Hotel downtown, after which he will meet with area local officials and business leaders.

He named State Senator Paula Dockery (R - Lakeland) as his honourary Polk County chairwoman, with Sheriff Grady Judd as honourary vice-chairman. His actual campaign chairwoman for Polk is longtime GOP activist Alci Maldonado.
