SOME INTERESTING STORIES TO READ THIS MORNING

I'm kinda takin' it easy this morning, and it's kinda slow in this part of the country, so there's not really not much to post that hasn't already been said. But there are a couple of interesting stories I came across that I would like to encourage you to check out:

--- Hillsborough County Commissioner Brian Blair was scheduled to begin a civil lawsuit Monday against Carrabba's Italian Grill over an injury suffered when he tripped over a tray of dirty dishes nearly five years ago that he claims ended his professional wrestling career (he was half of the WWE tag team the "Killer Bees"), but it has been postponed indefinately after his attorneys withdrew from the case. Thursday's Tampa Tribune has the full story, and Tommy has some fun with it on his blog Sticks of Fire...including a link to a pic of the commissioner with his partner in their "Killer Bees" trunks.

--- And speaking of lawsuits, there's a story on the CNN-Money Website where the Hell's Angels have filed against Buena Vista Pictures --- a division of the Walt Disney Company --- over trademark infringment??? Seems as though the infamous motorcycle club claims that Buena Vista and Tollin/Robbins Productions exploited it's name and helmeted, horned and feathered skull trademark in developing and publicizing the new movie "Wild Hogs". The movie, which stars Tim Robbins, John Travolta, and Martin Lawrence, is set to begin filming next month with release scheduled for next year.

Please be sure to check out some of the posts from earlier this week. Thanks for stopping in, and I hope that you make I4J a regular place to visit on your blog reading. Make it a great day!
