BOY SCOUT TROOP HAS A STRING OF BAD LUCK

From WFLA-TV 8 Tampa:

There is a Boy Scout troop in Hillsborough County which has experienced a trifecta of bad luck in one year.

Troop 665 is sponsored by St. Mark's United Church in Brandon. The Scouts' first suffered a theft of some equipment last March. Then, the church's Parish House was struck by fire, destroying some of the troop's equipment stored inside.

This time, it really hurt.

Thieves struck again recently, stealing a storage trailer from the church grounds which housed the troop's inventory of camping gear valued at around $15,000. Not just the equipment; they unchained the trailer from it's moorings, and took it, too. Hillsborough County detectives are investigating.

You've just got to wonder who would do such a thing.
