ON THE SUNDAY TALK SHOWS...

The primary topics for discussion this week will be the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito for the United States Supreme Court, reaction to the Senate's meltdown over prewar intelligence and the Democrats' belief that the leadership has been dragging their feet with the investigation, and the future in Iraq.

ABC - This Week With George Stephanopoulos - Senators Joe Biden (D - DE) and Chuck Hagel (R - NE). Also, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates will discuss his global health plan, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich joins the roundtable.

CBS - Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer - Senate Select Intelligence Committee Chair Pat Roberts (R - KS) and member Orrin Hatch (R - UT), and Judiciary Committee Assistant Minority Leader Dick Durbin (D - IL), along with Jan Crawford Greenburg of the Chicago Tribune.

CNN - Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer - Senators John Rockefeller (D - WV), Vice Chairman of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, and George Allen (R - VA) of the Foreign Relations Committee. Also, criminal defence attorney Jeralyn Merritt, Court TV analyst and author Catherine Crier, George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, Former Republican National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie and former Democratic counterpart Terry McAuliffe, and British Defence Minister John Reid.

FOX - Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace - Senators John McCain (R - AZ) and Charles Schumer (D - NY). Also, host Chris Wallace talks with his dad, CBS legend Mike Wallace and previews his new book Between You and Me. Also the usual panel: FOX News Washington Managing Editor Brit Hume, NPR's Mara Liasson and Juan Williams and Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol.

NBC/MSNBC - Meet the Press with Tim Russert - Senators Ted Kennedy (D - MA) and Tom Coburn (R - OK). And a political roundtable of the Los Angeles Times' Ron Brownstein, NBC News Chief White House Correspondent David Gregory, and NPR judicial correspondent Nina Totenberg.
