MORE OF A NORTHWESTERLY CURVE EXPECTED

What everyone expects will become Wilma has not done so yet. But the main change from this morning's advisory is that the five day forecast track takes what is still expected to become a major hurricane a bit further west. Instead of crossing the western tip of Cuba, the centre of the track --- take it for what it's worth --- sees it crossing the Yucatan Straits and entering the Gulf of Mexico. The steering currents are expected to remain rather weak for another day or two, so don't take the track for granted.
