IT WON'T ERASE ALL THEIR DIFFERENCES, BUT FOR A MOMENT OR TWO...

Good story in the Orlando Sentinel today about what is happening in Maitland, a city divided on any number of issues, especially the future vision of some for it's downtown area.

But people can put their differences aside for at least a little while, as Maitland's Little League Baseball team will play their first game in the Little League World Series tomorrow in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They will play in Pool A, which also includes teams from Newtown, Pennsylvania, Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Davenport, Iowa.

The community has something to at least pull them together for a few moments. Congratulations and best wishes to the Maitland crew.
