Thanks to Mark Lane at FlaBlog! for this tidbit from Slate:

I mentioned yesterday that the anti-Kerry documentary "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal" was being aired on various stations nationwide. The time was purchased by the Virginia-based Newton Media, which places time for infomercials and religious ministries.

In one case, WPLG-TV 10, the CBS affiliate in Fort Lauderdale/Miami, cut away from the football game between Michigan and Michigan State, which was tied at 37 when the station interrupted the network's broadcast to air "Stolen Honor". Needless to say, the phone lines into the station were jammed with irate viewers wondering where the hell their football game had gone. So although WPLG had it's own version of the infamous "Heidi" game, no apology would be forthcoming from VP/GM Dave Boylan.

BTW: 11th ranked Michigan won 45-37 in overtime.
