What a day! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIRED after 12 hours of working the phones. It isn't often that our company offers us overtime, so when it does come along, many people want to jump on the bandwagon. I'm ready to do eight more tomorrow night, as we are being limited to 20 hours per person during the brief period that it is being offered. My weekend goes to hell in a handbasket, but the paycheck will be a bit fatter as a result, and my creditors will be better satisfied.

My son didn't get to go to Winter Haven this weekend as a result. He turned 24 this week. He's a computer freak like his dad, and is heavily into the Pokemon trading card game, which is why he takes the bus into Winter Haven, for a Pokemon card game league that takes place every week. For those who believe that it is a game for kids, think again. You would be surprised at the number of adults that participate and the families who make it an event. In August the company that markets the game held it's World Championship at Disney, which attracted participants from all over. It's an interesting game, which teaches players strategy.
