READY FOR THE DOG AND PONY SHOW TODAY

Some of us actually have to work today; thankfully, it's the last of an eight day streach for me.

However, we spent the last few days making sure everything was JUST RIGHT, with all the small items that make our workspaces more "homey" and easier to work in brought down. The dog and pony show is because some corporate wonks from HQ are visiting.

Heck, if the visitors walk through out actual work area for more than three minutes I'll be quite surprised. More than likely, they'll be huddled in the management conference room --- well away from us --- chewing the fat...which would be more than OK with me and many of my collegues.

I'll have Tuesday and Wednesday off, then it's back for Thursday and Friday before the weekend. That's not a bad schedule.
