STONES AIN'T READY FOR NO RETIREMENT HOME...YET

The Rolling Stones brought "A Bigger Bang" tour to the St. Petersburg Times Forum in Tampa last evening, and the sold-out crowd apparantly got their satisfaction.

The concert ended too late for the big Tampa Bay newspapers to put reviews into today's editions, and the St. Petersburg Times music critic Sean Daly notes the reason for that is the Stones' rules for covering the show. But somehow, Lakeland Ledger critic Bill Dean has a generally glowing review that made it into today's edition.

Thanks. I saw it after I got to work; I just didn't see it online before I left. Sorry for speaking beforehand.

Also an interesting story about the 1965 show the Stones did in Clearwater ended way early (after the second song) after the fans raced toward the stage.
