IN SOME CASES, BIGGER CAN BE BETTER

In the Daytona Beach News-Journal today, columnist Pamela Hasterok looks at what has happened to Jacksonville and Duval County since their governments merged back in 1968, and how things have improved there.

The idea is that she is advocating possibly doing the same with Daytona Beach and Volusia County. Maybe not to the same extent, but she is favouring looking to change the county's charter toward that goal.
