A FORTUNATE TOURIST

Was extremely saddened and angered to read and hear about the terrible act of cowardice yesterday in London as four bombs were set off in the city's Underground transportation system. ABC News also reported that two unexploded bombs were found as well in the areas.

The person or persons responsible have no value for human life, and if they are indeed followers of Islam they should know that they do not represent the vast majority of Muslims, who follow the teachings of peace found throughout the Koran.

It's always interesting to see the British papers. The most poingant headline comes from the Star tabloid: BASTARDS. While the total amount of death and destruction will not come near to what happened in New York on September 11, 2001, this will be known as Britian's 9/11.

A bit of good news, though. Ed Deluzain, who is responsible for the Panama City-based blog Ironknee, and his wife are safe. They arrived in the UK Wednesday on vacation and were enroute to Canterbury when the bombings occured. He made a post Thursday afternoon.

Looks like Ed and Beth will be doubly lucky this week. They will also likely miss Hurricane Dennis' expected visit to the Panhandle.
